Welcome to For Sliming Out Loud!

Hi, I'm Emma, the founder of For Sliming Out Loud.

For years, one of my favourite things to do has been making slime with my youngest son. What started as a simple rainy-day activity quickly turned into a shared hobby. Together we've spent countless hours experimenting with different recipes, testing ingredients, discovering new textures, and occasionally making a bit of a mess along the way!

As our slime obsession grew, my son came up with the idea of running a small slime stall at a local car boot sale. We gave it a go, had lots of fun, met some lovely people, and before we knew it, For Sliming Out Loud was born.

What began as a family hobby has grown into something much bigger. Today, I'm excited to share the joy of slime with other children and families through parties, workshops, school events, community fairs, and hands-on sensory experiences. There is nothing better than seeing children create something themselves, explore different textures, and leave with a smile on their face and a slime they are proud of.

I want to be open and honest about something important. For Sliming Out Loud is currently a growing small business that I run alongside a full-time job that I also genuinely love. Because of this, there may be times when I can't respond immediately to messages, emails, or social media enquiries during the working day.

Please be assured that I regularly check my work phone and social media accounts, and I will always do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible, often during the evenings. Your patience and understanding while I build the business means the world to me.

For Sliming Out Loud brings colourful, professionally hosted slime sessions to homes, schools, fayres and community events across Nottinghamshire. We do all the prep, mixing and clean-up — you get the wide-eyed smiles.

Mixing, stretching, squishing — slime is amazing sensory play and brilliant for focus and creativity.

All ingredients are skin-safe and allergy-checked. We wipe down, tidy up and leave the space spotless.

I have personal experience working with neurodivergent children and I understand that every child experiences the world differently. Some children thrive in a busy, buzzy group, while others need a quieter, more predictable environment to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves.

I consider myself to be kind, patient and compassionate. I take the time to listen to parents, understand each child's needs, and adapt the session so they can take part in a way that works for them. Whether that means fewer distractions, a slower pace, extra guidance with the steps, or simply a reassuring smile when things feel new, I'm here to make sure every child feels safe and included.

Slime is naturally brilliant for sensory regulation — the stretching, squishing and focusing on texture can be incredibly calming and grounding. I love seeing children relax into the activity, build their confidence, and leave feeling proud of what they have made.
